WSTRN is a West London-based collective consisting of Akelle Charles, Haile and Louis Rei. Their debut single, "In2", was released on 13 October 2015 and peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. Louis Rei is formally known as LB and is associated with Dappy, Akelle is formally known as A star and is Angels Blood Brother and Haile's cousin. Haile has featured on many tracks and hit track Nines ,Can't Blame Me'.

WSTRN consists of Akelle Charles, Haile and Louis Rei. The name bears no relevance to westerns; according to the band, the name represents positive vibrations and to them means that it is "West London's turn to shut down the scene". Akelle and Haile are cousins who know Louis through their inhabitance of West London, while Akelle is the brother of singer Angel and was part of a band with him and his three other siblings called the Charles Family, co-managed by the late reggae singer Smiley Culture and Akelle's father, Tendai Charles, who was in the same reggae group as Haile's father. The group failed to achieve mainstream success despite being the subject of a BBC documentary One Life.

Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji, professionally known as Libianca, is a talented Cameroonian singer, composer, and music producer. Born in 2001, she has gained recognition for her exceptional vocal abilities, captivating compositions, and proficiency as a mixing engineer.

Libianca's passion for music was ignited during her childhood in Cameroon. She was deeply inspired by her first babysitter, who would sing while performing household tasks. This early exposure to musical sounds sparked her desire to evoke similar emotions through her own singing. As she grew older, she delved into songwriting, crafting her first compositions around 10 and 11.

Her relocation to the United States provided further opportunities for her musical growth. Engaging in school choirs and other musical activities, she nurtured her vocal talents and expanded her musical horizons.

Signing a local record deal at around 15 or 16 years old marked a pivotal moment in Libianca's journey. This experience exposed her to the technical aspects of music production, including engineering and recording. Recognizing the value of self-sufficiency, she embarked on a journey to become proficient in mixing and production techniques. Over time, she honed her skills, positioning herself as an artist who could shape her music from inception to completion.

Libianca's artistic prowess came to the forefront during her appearance on the 21st season of The Voice. Her rendition of SZA's "Good Days" captured the attention of acclaimed coach Blake Shelton, leading to a year of mentorship. This platform paved the way for Libianca to experiment with her style, showcased by her notable cover performances of popular tracks such as Billie Eilish's "Everything I Wanted" and Doja Cat's "Woman."

On December 5, 2022, Libianca unveiled her debut solo single titled "People." The song delves into themes of heartbreak, sorrow, and loneliness, drawing inspiration from her own experiences. "People" showcases her storytelling abilities and resonates with listeners who relate to its emotional depth.

Although Libianca spent much of her upbringing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she maintains a strong connection to her cultural heritage in Bamenda, Cameroon, where she lived from ages 4 to 13. This dual cultural background infuses her music with a unique blend of influences, contributing to her distinctive artistic identity.

Libianca's musical journey continues to evolve, with her passionate voice and innovative approach garnering international recognition. Through her compositions and productions, she bridges cultural divides and connects with audiences profoundly.

Soca has never been so cool! Combat boots, baggy attire, brightly colored bandanas adorning funky dreads and coloured 'fros; krosfyah epitomizes coolness. Combined with infectious melodies, high-energy performances and pulsating rhythms that speak a language only one's hips comprehend, krosfyah has reinvented soca as we know it.

For the past fifteen years, krosfyah has been touring the world inducing fans across three continents into a soca frenzy! Yet despite the group's sophomore CD's (Ultimate Party - Pump Me Up) sales (totaling over 300,000 units to date without the assistance of a major label), the guys remain humble. As Edwin Yearwood, principal songwriter for krosfyah indicates, "We are just a bunch of island guys who love to play music." And play music is exactly what they do. Whether entertaining 20 or 20,000, krosfyah always delivers an energized performance!

The evolution of krosfyah from playing covers for tourists on the Barbados hotel circuit to touring the world and performing their original music for dignitaries like Nelson Mandela occurred over a span of seven years. While few critics ever doubted the potential of krosfyah, most never imagined this level of success, in such a short space of time.

In 1994, krosfyah released their debut album, Ultimate Party, which propelled the group from obscurity to the most popular soca band on the island of Barbados and won them the coveted "Band of the Year" title.

In 1995, the group released Ultimate Party-Pump Me Up. Not only did this album produce the hit song, "Pump Me Up", which became the national anthem for the youth of Barbados but it travelled across the seas to Canada where it achieved the coveted Gold status in January of 1997. As you read, it continues to receive excellent sales and reviews throughout the Caribbean, South America, the USA and Europe, while still finding its way into new global markets. The album bestowed unprecedented honors upon its lead vocalist Edwin Yearwood: "Party Monarch", "Road Monarch Champion" and "Calypso King" in 1995. The triple-crown win by one artiste would mark the first and only time to date, in the history of Barbados'''' Annual Crop Over Festival, that such a feat has ever been accomplished.

In 1996, the success of krosfyah's third album, Aim High, led to more awards. The album also produced the hit song, "Wet Me", which dominated the music chart in the neighboring island of Trinidad and Tobago. 1997 brought forth a six track cd, entitled Fyah Riddims, 3 tunes from that Album had a good run, those being Road Block, Highway Robbery & Redemption of Me. Christmas of that year was a 6 track album entitled Fyahside Christmas, with favourites such as My Sweet Lord, No Christmas Without You, Jah Son, End of the Rope and Celebration.

During 1998, krosfyah surfaced from the studio with a new album, Hot Zone and a new co-lead vocalist, Ray Armstrong. Hot Zone, like all of its predecessors, produced hit songs such as Oil Pumping, Calor & Appetite which enabled the band to tour across the United States and Europe performing at music showcases and festivals.

As if not to be stopped, krosfyah released yet another album krosfyah.com in 1999 with hits like Agony (which saw Edwin Yearwood crowned 1999 Party Monarch for the third time), Ragga Beenie, Forkin', Be-sa-me and Sexy Body, to name a few.
The year 2000 turned out to be no different. Krosfyah marked their return to their homeland's cultural festival, Crop Over, with another remarkable feat. Lead singer with the band, Edwin Yearwood, won his fourth Party Monarch title with the track, "Fiah Fiah," which is featured on his debut solo album Influenced: The Good and Badd In Me. This album was released alongside krosfyah's own The Best of krosfyah. This compilation of hits from the past and including two new tracks, continues to demonstrate krosfyah's musical ingenuity.

The return to Crop Over for krosfyah has indeed proven to be one of their best decisions ever. Following the trend of the past years, krosfyah released yet another pulsating, award winning album. "Kool Under Fire," the name of the album, is a fitting title for this ever-dynamic band. The success of this album includes the Barbados 2001 Road March tune, "Sak Pasé", which was sung by Edwin and the effervescent Khiomal Nurse, who also joined the band that same year. "Emancipation" (another skilfully penned and appropriately titled masterpiece which reflects on our freedom, and some spanish flavour in "Plenty Amor". These songs will certainly add to the continuation of the groups' success.

One would agree that in everything there will be good and there will be bad. However, the success comes when you realize amidst it all you can have the situation "Lock Down". krosfyah's 2002 album is certainly a testimony of will power to rise to the top. The album features the Barbados Tune of the Crop third place song "Road Jam", along with fast pace hits, the likes of "Fire Man" and "Ride It" and cool titles "Satisfaction" and "Ling Tong". Lead guitarist Anthony Bailey, debuted his solo album, "Unheard Message," that same year, a 20 track cd that's a must hear.

Krosfyah's versatility continues to be evident even in their album titles. "Enchanted", simple but thought-provoking is the title of the 2003 album. The flava is cool, refreshing and totally krosfyah (still down-to-earth and for their fans and supporters). One song "Family" was specifically written for their faithful supporters, especially those who frequent the message board on krosfyah's website. Other songs include "French Kiss" featuring a French flavoured melody and a ragga-soca number called "Sorry."
"Zero Tolerance", the 2004 album title, clearly speaks out against music piracy, drugs and violence. This was definitely the stance which the band and Edwin Yearwood took to the Party Monarch Finals, where he won for the 5th time with "Invasion." With other hits such as "Strong Back" and "Pressure" by Khiomal, Keep Rolling It" and the sweet melody of "Sugarcane", which placed 2nd in the People's Monarch Final, this album is yet another classic example of pure musicianship.

For their 15th Anniversary, December 31st, 2004, the band brought out yet another classic masterpiece, "The Best of Krosfyah Vol. 2", and to add the icing to the cake, lead vocalist and songwriter, Edwin Yearwood, was signed to VP Records - Waistline Music Division, being the first Soca act to be signed to this label. With the increased presence of soca in the
international marketplace, the best is yet to come from this music maestro and his band.

In 2005, Krosfyah brought their album, "Timeless," which includes popular songs such as Head Gone, Don't Move, First Lady, and Friends, which features popular Bajan artiste, Lil Rick. Tony Bailey won an award at the first annual Barbados Music Awards for the band with his ragga soca song, "Sweetest Thing," held in the beginning of 2006. The band also copped the best soca band and best soca album awards at the 13th Annual Reggae Soca Music Awards held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Lead singer, Edwin Yearwood, also won an award for his collaboration with Bunji Garlin in his classic song, "All Aboard."

Fast forward to the 2006 Cropover season, Edwin Yearwood and Khiomal Nurse, noth participated in the Party Monarch Finals, placing 2nd and 4th respectively. The band's album, Everblazin, has been called the best soca album of the summer by many. It's no wonder, with big songs such as, "We Ready To Go," "Welcome To The Band," "Sinking Sand," and "Agua," all of which have been on the top of Barbados' radio charts as well as heavy rotation in the various soca events since.
While it is true that krosfyah is "just a bunch of islanders who love to play music", krosfyah's players (Edwin Yearwood, Anthony Bailey, Khiomal Nurse, Morris Cassell, Corey Jordan, Neil Burnett, Felix Forde, Michael Agard, Andrew Weekes, Ronald Taylor, Aynsley Greaves, Carlton Yearwood & Darron Grant) each add a unique ingredient to their magical music.

Molly Ama Montgomery, professionally known as MOLIY, is a singer and songwriter of Ghanaian and American descent. Deeply influenced by her rich Ghanaian ancestry, Moliy’s childhood fluctuated between Accra and Orlando, Florida where the musical sounds of Afrobeats, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, and Hip-Hop inspired her musical pursuits at a very young age.

Her profound love for music was also inspired by frequent Karaoke performances alongside family and friends, which gradually developed her unique musical prowess with vocals and melodies that are deeply rooted in soul. Self-identifying as a genre-bender who embraces all forms of music, Moliy took advantage of the global digital space to introduce her creative versatility and sound through provocative freestyles on social platforms.

Despite a year beset with a global pandemic in 2020, Moliy captured audiences by strategically releasing Wondergirl, an impressive body of 6 tracks that lends itself to a distinctive Afro-Fusion sound which boldly launched a defining moment in her career. The EP has successfully cut across the shores of Ghana to gain airplay in Nigeria, The Gambia as well as Kenya.

As one of Ghana’s foremost rising artists, Moliy’s main objective is to authenticate herself in the new crop of vibrant female singers that are carving a path for themselves in the mostly male-dominated industry. With Ghanaian music on the global rise, expect to see and hear Moliy on stages and platforms worldwide for years to come.

Alaine Laughton, known by her first name, is a singer and songwriter. She was born in New Jersey, but moved to Jamaica at the age of three.

In 1988, Alaine appeared in movie Clara's Heart along side Whoopi Goldberg. Through the late 1990's and early 2000's, Alaine has lived in the United States and has been songwriting and singing back up for Rocafella artists such as Cam'ron and Freeway.

She moved back to Jamaica in the summer of 2004 to focus on her own music after working as an investment banker for JP Morgan and Chase. Alaine later met with Craig "DASECA" Marsh, and started working with him. Their immediate chemistry provided Alaine with her first song on the radio within days of her arrival back to Jamaica.

In 2005, the single "No Ordinary Love" on Don Corleon's Seasons Riddim was a breakthrough single in the Reggae scene, and Alaine was quickly praised for her special talents. The single topped the charts in Jamaica and also charts in the UK. The music video topped the charts on MTV Tempo's Cross Caribbean Countdown for several weeks and became the first video by a female reggae artist to be retired from the countdown on one of Jamaica's biggest video request shows, E-Strip.

Alaine has continued voicing tunes for the last few years for the likes of Don Corleone, dropping nice cuts such as "Heavenly" on the Heavenly Riddim and Sacrifice, her latest single. A music video for the single, directed by top Jamaican director Ras Kassa was recently released. Her other singles "Deeper", "Chaka Chaka Love", "Heavenly", "Wine" and "Love Sound", a duet with Beres Hammond have all done well. "Dreaming of You" (featuring Beenie Man), "Rise In Love" , "I Love You" (featuring Busy Signal) and Sacrifice, among others, are in current rotation across the world.

Alaine has performed at the Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2005 and 2006 to positive reviews. She has also performed in St. Vincent, Tortola, St. Maarten, Cayman, Nevis, St. Croix , St. Thomas (USVI), St. Lucia and the United States. She has been spreading the word about HIV and safe sex to high schools throughout Jamaica, and will be showcased as one of twenty artist in the movie "Made in Jamaica" which is being directed by Jerome Lapperrouzas.

Her upcoming album tentatively titled Sacrifice is slated for release in late January or early February of 2008.

Her voice coupled with her song writing skills perfectly combine to create and unforgettable sound that is all her own.

There is more than one artist with this name:

1) Luciano (real name Patrick Großmann; born January 28, 1994 in Bautzen) is a German rapper from Berlin.

The son of a Mozambican father and a German mother, Luciano grew up mostly in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. He is a member of the rap crew Loco Squad Gang.

In 2020, Luciano was one of the first high-reach German-language rappers to release music in the internationally successful UK Drill style.

2. Luciano (born Jepther McClymont on October 20, 1964) is a Jamaican Roots Reggae artist. He first begun recording in 1992 under his first name Luciana, with his debut single "Ebony & Ivory" on the Aquarius Record label and followed with his debut album 'Moving Up' for RAS records in 1993. Luciano is the seventh of nine children and was born to extremely spiritual and musical parents while growing up in Daveyton, a small district in the central parish of Manchester, Jamaica.

2) Luciano, born in 1978 in Chile and raised in Switzerland. Started DJing in 1993 and producing electronic music since 1997. In the mid-90's, he was promoting Sense Club and Encuentros con la Technocultura in Santiago de Chile in the company of many initiators of the Latin American electronic music scene: Señor Coconut AKA Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Pier Bucci, Dandy Jack, Adrian Schopf, Washington Miranda, Argenix Brito, Microman, etc.

Luciano left Chile at 21 and moved to Europe (2000), settling in Geneva (Switzerland) to launch Mental Groove Records and holding a residency at the Weetamix club. He gradually invaded the inner reaches of electronic culture, forming a partnership with Ibiza’s most notorious underground club, Circoloco at DC10, which gave Luciano a perfect platform and a passionate audience for his irresistible, mind-altering blend of barebones techno and hot-blooded Latin rhythms. His releases appear on the Transmat, Perlon, Lo-Fi Stereo, Bruchstuecke and Klang Elektronik record labels.

Luciano's mixed Swiss & Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno & electro that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colourful patterns in sound. His collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos (Playhouse, Perlon, Warp, Force Inc etc.) as Sense Club are especially rewarding, as is his partnership with Pier Bucci and Argenix Brito as Monne Automne.

Mellowing his style as times goes by, getting more experimental and spacey with a fresh style of his own, Luciano’s production is destined to the wiser dancefloors.

She is noted for her spinto mezzo-soprano, a rangy three octaves, capable of both dark contralto depths and angelic soprano highs. Tamia has released numerous albums since her discovery by Quincy Jones in 1995, at the age of 19. Her first three albums, 1998's Tamia, 2000's A Nu Day, and 2004's More, all achieved moderate success on R&B charts and urban radio, but failed to achieve mainstream success.

As a result of the disappointing performances of her albums, Tamia split from her label and released her next record, Between Friends, independently. As of 2019, Tamia has released a further three studio albums through her own label, Plus One Music Group - 2012's Beautiful Surprise, 2015's Love Life, and 2018's Passion Like Fire.

She has been married to the NBA basketball player Grant Hill since 1999, with whom she has two children.

2) Tamia is an experimental/avant-garde vocalist who has collaborated with Pierre Favre.

There are at least three artists known as Case.

1. an R&B performer from New York, NY, United States.
2. a British punk / ska / oi! band of the early 1980's (reformed in 2011)
3. a rapper, skateboarder and drummer from San Francisco, CA, United States

1. Case Woodard was born in New York City and was signed to Def Soul records. He first started working in the R&B industry as a backup singer, working with big name R&B artists like Usher. In 1996, Case released his self-titled debut album. The album featured "Touch Me Tease Me" with rapper Foxy Brown and R&B singer Mary J. Blige, the hit single from "The Nutty Professor". The single went gold, reaching #4 on the R&B charts and #14 on the Hot 100.

Case's second album,Personal Conversation, was released in 1999 and went gold. The album featured the hit single "Happily Ever After" which reached #3 on the R&B charts and #15 on the Hot 100. The album's other single, "Think Of You" failed to do well on the charts, managing to only reach #50 on the R&B charts.

Open Letter, Case's most well-known album was released in 2001. The album went gold, likely a result of the single "Missing You." "Missing You" is Case's only #1 single to date as it topped the R&B charts and reached #4 on the Hot 100.

After the success of “Open Letter”, Case moved to Atlanta to be closer to his children, and has over the last several years proven to be a real survivor. To say his seven years “away” from music have been interesting would be an understatement. In 2002 his true determination to survive was witnessed when Case accidentally shot himself in the throat. The bullet that went in through his throat and came out of the back of his neck was miraculously less than a centimeter away from paralyzing and killing him. To the shock of everyone around, Case was out of the hospital in four hours with just bandages around his neck.

With no damage done to his vocal chords Case continued to work on completing his fourth album, but due to professional differences Case asked to be released from Def Jam Records in 2004. He has since worked through the challenges of a changing music industry and partnered with manager Blue Williams to create and independent record label, Indigo Blue. Case is now poised to release his much anticipated album, The Rose Experience in Fall 2008.

A great deal of Case's success has been due to his appearance on movie soundtracks. Many of Case's most popular tracks appear on the soundtracks for Nutty Professor, Rush Hour, Nutty Professor II and The Best Man. These singles were "Touch Me Tease Me" (Nutty Professor), "Faded Pictures" (Rush Hour), "Best Man I Can Be" (The Best Man) and "Missing You" (Nutty Professor II).

2. Hailing from South London, United Kingdom, Case were a five-piece punk (sometimes ska-tinged) outfit led by vocalist Matthew Newman. Their best known line-up featured drummer Derwent, sax players Neil Pyzer and Micky Donnelly, guitarist Rob Brooks and bassist Marc Adams. Their only official release was the Wheat From The Chaff EP (1983), until all of their demo recordings were gathered up on the compilation CD, Ain't Gonna Dance (2011).

Shaggy is the name of, at least, two artists.
1, Shaggy (born October 22, 1969, in Kingston, Jamaica as Orville Richard Burrell), is a Jamaican reggae artist who takes his nickname from his shaggy hair. He is especially notable for his distinctive sub-baritone voice.

His family immigrated to the United States and they settled in the neighborhood of Flatbush, Brooklyn, located in New York City, New York, USA.

In 1988, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served during Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War.

On his return from Iraq, he decided to pursue his music career and his first hit in 1993: "Oh Carolina", was a dancehall re-make of a ska hit by the Folkes Brothers. The same year, Shaggy appeared on Kenny Dope's hip hop album "The Unreleased Project". He worked together with producers such as Sting Intl., Don One (who cut his first track), Lloyd 'Spiderman' Campbell and Robert Livingston. He had further big hits, including "Boombastic" in 1995.

He then had a major comeback in 2001, featuring worldwide number-one hit singles "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel," the latter of which was built around Merrilee Rush's 1968 hit "Angel of the Morning" (which was remade in 1981 by Juice Newton). The album Hot Shot, from which those cuts came, would hit number one on the Billboard 200.

However, his 2002 release Lucky Day, and the 2005 album Clothes Drop failed to match Hot Shot's success.

Shaggy performed the theme for Showtime (film), a 2002 movie.

2, Shaggy, a swedish rock/blues rock band from the 1970's. Released one album, "Lessons for beginners"
